Ekta Kapoor is an Indian film and television producer. She is the daughter of famous Indian actor Jeetendra. At the age of 19, she started producing tv serials and has produced more than 130 tv shows till now. In 2001, Ekta produced her first movie “Kyo Kii… Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta”. Further, Kapoor produced films like Krishna Cottage, Kyaa Kool Hai Hum, Shootout At Lokhandwala and Udta Punjab. Many actors like Vidya Balan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Ram Kapoor etc are launched by her. Under her banner ALT Balaji, she has also produced many popular web series. For her work, Ekta has won several awards including ITA awards and Dada Sahab Phalke awards.
